These terms govern your use of PardyTime, a party-game platform operated by OneGuyLabs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
PardyTime lets you host and join real-time multiplayer party games, including Jeopardy-style boards, Classic quiz rounds, and Cards prompts. You can play as a guest or create an account to host games, author packs, and unlock paid features.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Provide an email you actually control: sign-in happens by emailing you a one-time code.
- One account per person. Keep your inbox secure; anyone with access to your email can sign in.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, including through display names or custom content;
- Upload content you do not have the rights to, or content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights;
- Upload illegal content, including illegal sexual content;
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or run automated load against the service;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute official paid content;
- Use the service to send spam or interfere with other players' games.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and remove content that does the same.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the packs and other content you create on PardyTime ("your content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and share your content as needed to operate the service: for example, showing it to other players in a room you host, or rendering a public link you share.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload any text, images, or other material you include in your content, and that sharing it through PardyTime does not infringe anyone else's rights.
When you delete your content or your account, we stop displaying it. Cached copies may take a short time to clear from the global edge.
5. Paid plans and purchases
We offer:
- PardyTime Plus as a monthly or yearly subscription, which unlocks hosting games with uploaded images and media and extra storage;
- Lifetime Plus as a one-time purchase that unlocks the same features with no recurring charge.
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include any applicable VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorise the charge for the chosen plan.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the paid period and are not charged again. Lifetime purchases are non-recurring.
6. EU right of withdrawal (digital content)
Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, such as Plus access, this right ends as soon as you begin using the content, provided you have given prior consent and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right.
Before each purchase you will be asked to confirm that you want immediate access and waive your 14-day withdrawal right for that digital content. If you do not confirm, you cannot complete the purchase.
7. Refunds
Beyond the statutory withdrawal right in section 6, the following applies. Email support@oneguylabs.com to request a refund and include the order ID from your Stripe receipt.
7.1 How long it takes
We respond to refund requests within 5 business days. If a refund is approved, the amount is returned to your original payment method via Stripe; depending on your bank, it typically arrives within 5 to 10 business days.
7.2 Accidental renewals
If your monthly or yearly subscription has renewed but you have not used the service since the renewal date, contact us within 14 days of that renewal and we will refund the renewal in full and cancel the subscription.
7.3 Subscription mid-period refunds
We do not normally refund the unused portion of a subscription when you cancel: your access simply continues until the period ends. We will make a pro-rata refund for the unused days in a paid period when:
- You experienced more than 24 cumulative hours of service outage in that period, or
- We materially change paid features in a way that disadvantages you and you cancel within 14 days of being notified.
The pro-rata amount is calculated as price paid multiplied by (days remaining in the period divided by total days in the period), rounded to the nearest cent.
7.4 Lifetime Plus
Lifetime purchases are eligible for a refund within 14 days of the purchase date, provided you have not used Plus features since the purchase. After 14 days, or once Plus features have been used, lifetime purchases are non-refundable.
7.5 Chargebacks
If you have a payment problem, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank: almost every issue can be resolved faster directly. Chargebacks opened without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution, and we will share the order, IP, and access records needed to respond with your card issuer. Once a chargeback is resolved in your favour, no further refund is owed for the same charge.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep PardyTime running smoothly, but the service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice before retiring features that paying customers rely on.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of data, or other indirect or consequential losses.
10. Termination
You can stop using PardyTime and delete your account at any time from the settings page. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, are inactive for an extended period, or where required by law. On termination, we will delete your data per the privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We will update this page when the service changes in a way that affects these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect for existing users. Continued use after that period means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes will be handled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer in another EU or EEA country, you keep the protection of any non-derogable consumer rights that apply where you live. You can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
